We have recently reviewed our organisational structure and this has changed the way we aim to deliver services.

David Hinchliffe explains here what the organisational review is all about.

Having been in operation for 9 years in 2003, the Association decided that it was time to carry out a review of its organisational and staffing arrangements. Over this time the demands upon the organisation have dramatically changed, and will continue to change over the years to come. We need to be equipped to meet those changes.

Our aim is to ensure that we meet the needs of our customers as efficiently and effectively as possible. We also want to offer the pay and conditions that will enable us to recruit and retain good quality staff. We have taken into account the information received through a variety of sources, including surveys and Government proposals that may affect social housing in considering the changes we will be making.

The review, which involved a high degree of consultation with our staff, has led to the creation of new teams and the appointment of new staff. Our new teams were established in October/November 2003.
