Help us to improve our services and have a real say in how we deliver services with as much or as little input as suits you:

Become a Resident Contact: This allows you to do as much or as little as you have time for. We will write to you regularly and offer you opportunities to complete a questionnaire, come to a meeting or go on a training course. You can choose to do as much or as little as you want.

Become a Grounds Maintenance Inspector: If you want to help keep your estate looking well cared-for you can. This means that you act as our ‘eyes and ears’, checking that the Grounds Maintenance Contractors are carrying out their work as they should. All you have to do is to fill in a record sheet once a fortnight.

Become a Newsletter Editorial Member: Perhaps you might be interested in helping to produce our Residents’ Newsletter. Residents work with staff on our Editorial Panel writing stories, checking for spelling mistakes and discussing how the newsletter should be laid out. There are four editions a year, with three meetings per edition. If you enjoy writing but don’t want to come to meetings, you can choose to be a ‘roving reporter’, writing articles about the place where you live.

Become a Resident Panel Member: If you are seriously interested in helping to improve our services, you might like to join our Residents’ Panel, ‘The Voice’. The first step is to come along to one of the meetings as an observer. The Voice have their own section of the Marches website.

Become a Scrutiny Panel member: Our Scrutiny panel is responsible for looking very closely at the services we offer and recommending improvements. This is a serious commitment: you will need to come to meetings regularly as well as as doing your own reading, writing and research. It's challenging, really interesting and we can promise that you will never be bored!
