How do I move?

MalvernTransfers

If you are already a tenant with Marches Housing Association and would like to stay in Herefordshire, you need to make a normal application to HOME POINT.
If you want to move outside the Herefordshire area you will need to contact the other organisations that hold the waiting lists for your chosen area.
You will only be able to transfer if your current home is in good condition.

Mutual Exchanges

Another way of moving is to exchange your home with another tenant.
We hold a list of tenants who would like to undertake a mutual exchange; you can view this at any of our offices.
If you find someone to swap with, you must apply to Marches Housing Association for permission to move.

I would like to move to another part of the country - how do I move?

If you would like to move to another part of the country, then you may be able to do so through the HOMES Mobility Scheme. Your Community Housing officer can help you with this; contact them to discuss your requirements.

If you are currently a tenant of Marches Housing Association, you can also register with HOMESWAP. This is a national Mutual Exchange Scheme, where you can swap with people in different parts of the country. You can look at the HOMESWAP list in our offices.
