Affordable housing has never been in greater demand.
The combination of Council house sales under the
Right to Buy scheme and rising house, and land values,
has created a local and national shortfall of affordable
housing.
In order to meet this excess of demand Marches Housing
Association is constantly seeking opportunities to
provide further accommodation.
The Housing Corporation will provide Grant funding
to assist most forms of development, below, are a
few examples of the many opportunities that we are
willing to consider:
- Purchasing ex-council houses to
let as affordable homes.
- Purchasing private dwellings to
convert, or refurbish, to provide affordable homes.
- Purchasing town/City sites to clear
and re-develop to build affordable housing.
- Purchasing Greenfield sites in
town/village locations to build affordable homes
on.
- Partnerships with private developers
to provide affordable housing on shared sites.
- Purchasing houses from private
developers to let for affordable housing.
- Leasing as opposed to purchasing
on all of the above schemes.
We will consider proposals from any area in Herefordshire,
Shropshire or Worcestershire.
We can appraise a potential development and make
a decision in principle within days.
Please contact us immediately if you have an opportunity
that you wish us to consider.
